What Recipe Resizer Accesses When a user activates Recipe Resizer on a webpage, the extension may read recipe-related content from the active tab, including ingredient names, quantities, units, and yield information, so that it can perform the recipe scaling and conversion functions requested by the user. Recipe Resizer uses Chrome permissions such as activeTab and scripting only for this user-facing functionality. Local Processing and Storage Recipe Resizer processes recipe content locally in the user's browser. Recipe webpage content, recipe data, browsing history, and personal information are not transmitted to the developer or to developer-operated servers. Recipe Resizer may use Chrome storage to save local extension preferences and state. This information remains within the browser and can be removed by clearing the extension's stored data or uninstalling the extension. Information We Collect Recipe Resizer does not collect names, email addresses, account credentials, financial information, precise location information, browsing history, or other personally identifying information through the extension. Recipe Resizer does not use advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics services to track users. Website Content Recipe Resizer accesses website content only when necessary to provide its user-facing recipe scaling and conversion features. Access is limited to the webpage on which the user invokes the extension and is used to identify and process recipe-related information. Sharing and Sale of Data Recipe Resizer does not sell, rent, share, or transfer user data to third parties. Security Recipe Resizer is designed to minimize data exposure. Recipe processing occurs locally, Recipe Resizer does not transmit recipe or browsing data to developer-operated servers, and the extension requests only permissions needed to provide its functionality.
